Introduction | Attendee gifts | Speaker List | Agenda | Sponsor List | Sponsorship Levels

On January 13, 2017 we held our annual Biotech Breakfast at the Breakers at the world-renowned Breakers hotel on the ocean in Palm Beach.  We continued to focus on age reversal due to our great demand last year.  Whereas last year we focused on the science and emphasized that the technology behind age reversal was legitimate and ready to commercialize (see the videos from our speaker panel last year by clicking here), this year we emphasized the commercialization or implemention of age reversal and wellness technologies by various companies.

In the first part of our Breakfast, we hosted three speakers who spoke about various applications of Age Reversal technology in everyday life.  In the second part of our Breakfast, we featured a number of companies (including Piranha Tank, Morphologie, BioMune, and Age Reversal Therapeutics, a division of Life Extension) who presented their breakthrough products for commercialization and investment opportunities.  In addition, we had a considerable number of Sponsors whose efforts and contributions helped to make our event a success!

Attendees to our Breakfast received a free copy of Michael Roizen's new book "This Is Your Do-Over: The 7 Secrets to Losing Weight, Living Longer, and Getting a Second Chance at the Life You Want" and a business card-sized customized PBBG USB drive courtesy of USBMemoryDirect (clicking the link takes one to a coupon offer provided to our Attendees).

Speaker Videos - 2017 Age Reversal Breakfast

We thank our speakers for their participation in our event, and to those speakers who provided their slides to reintegrate into their presentations!  We apologize for the room echo in the presentations; we attempted to remove this echo as much as possible.  Clicking on each speaker's name will direct you to their bio on our website.

Keynote Speaker - Dr. Michael Roizen MD., Chief Wellness Officer of The Cleveland Clinic

Dr. Roizen is the inaugural Chief Wellness Officer of the Cleveland Clinic.  In his presentation, he speaks about the implementation of clinically proven wellness practices into the workplace as a way to improve wellness within a company and among the population.  Please click here to see his presentation.  NOTE!  There are two minor gaps in his presentation due to technical difficulties.  We apolgize in advance.

Dr. Michael A. Smith MD., National Spokesperson of Life Extension, Inc.

In Dr. Smith's presentation, he speaks about the use of naturally derived compounds that Life Extension sells that helps re-energize mitochondria, the metabolic powerhouse of the cell whose malfunction may lead to premature aging of tissues long before chromosomal senescence ages cells. Please click here to see his presentation.

Dr. Joseph Purita, Founder of the Institute for Regenerative Medicine

In Dr. Purita's presentation, he speaks about the use of various therapies that involve stem cells, and why they work to reverse several diseases or consequences of tissue aging.  Please click here to see his presentation.

The time is nigh for our annual event at the Breakers Hotel on the ocean at Palm Beach! We continue the theme of age reversal. Last year we presented the science of age reversal from diverse speakers and demonstrated the legitimate and viable research being performed. If you missed the 2016 event, we invite you to watch online:

2016 Annual Breakfast Presentation Videos

This year we want to focus not as much on the science, but instead on how companies are planning to, or already are, making money commercializing age-reversal products!  This is your opportunity to get ground-floor information on the business of age reversal and profit immensely from this rapidly growing sector of biotechnology!

Anthony Shaya - Zika Virus Implications for the 21st Century

This event was graciously sponsored by the Jupiter Medical Center!

On Friday, September 9, 2016, Dr. Anthony Shaya, MD, MPH, FACOG, who is a current Member and former Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Jupiter Medical Center, spoke about the current state of the art of Zika Virus with respect to knowledge, diagnosis, epidemiology, and treatment options.  The slides from his presentation can be found by clicking here, but a written summary of his presentation is outlined below.  Dr. Shaya credits much of this information to Dr. Alina Alonso, MD, Director of Palm Beach County, Florida Department of Health.

John Browne - the PBBG Breakfast and his TV spots

Our breakfast speaker on June 10 was John Browne, a favorite and our only traditional annual speaker. John is an author, financial and political analyst, former Conservative Member of Parliament in the UK, former elite Grenadier Guardsman, and a perennial gold bug (often with very good reasons). The potential for the UK to disassociate from the European Union ("Brexit") can have a major effect on the world's financial and economic climate. John wrote an article about this, and it can be seen here. John's expert analysis can give attendees an insight that could be most important for both our attendees and their clients, especially for those in the financial services. Read John's bio here.

2016 Age Reversal Breakfast at the Breakers

The most exciting speaker presentation the PBBG has ever offered was at the Breakers on January 12, 2016, from 7:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. We presented a four member panel of leading world scientists on actually REVERSING THE AGING PROCESS. It is well established that you age as the telomeres at the end of your chromosomes get shorter with each cell cycle.  The Nobel Prize was given in 1994 for the discovery of telomeres and their relationship to age.  Age related diseases increase as your immune system gets weaker with telomere shortening.  Recent science you will hear on January 12 offers the potential to stop and reverse aging.

HRH Reza Pahlavi and the IOSME

His Royal Highness and Thomas Ross with World Leaders

The Palm Beach Business Group is proud to support the efforts of the Institute for an Open Society in the Middle East (IOSME) in their attempts to restore a secular, democratic and equalitarian government to Iran.  It is becoming ancient history that, prior to 1979, when a religious theocratic coup of the Iranian government occurred, Iran was a progressive secular republic whose influence and culture had spanned centuries, lasting as long as Greco-Roman, Judaic and Mesopotamian cultures.  It would surprise many people to know that, prior to the theocratic government that now rules, Iran was a strong ally of Israel (in fact, Iran was the first middle-eastern country to recognize Israel as a sovereign nation in 1948), was a strong ally of Europe and the Unites States, and helped the United States and the USSR stop the Nazi invasion of the USSR during World War II.  A coup led by religous extremists took over the Iranian government and forced the permanent exile of the Shah of Iran (Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi), and his family.  The oldest son of the late Shah and his wife, the Empress (Shahbanu Farah Pahlavi) is the Crown Prince of Iran
